Bambi

Bambi Air Ltd is a Birmingham-based manufacturer of a range of air compressors and accessories for various different applications.

Its meticulously engineered products have been consistently improved and time-tested since Bambi’s inception in 1977, and it is now renowned as a specialist provider that understands the complex requirements of today’s dental clinics.

In its own words, Bambi’s range of dental air compressors is as diverse as its customers. Its range of oil-free compressors are some of the most trusted in the industry and are the first choice for dentists in the UK and many other countries across the world. Its VT range is particularly known for its high-performance capabilities with ultra-low noise emissions – something that is becoming more important to clinic owners who want to deliver a calm, comforting environment for their patients without compromising on air quality or hygiene considerations.

Showcasing Bambi’s technical expertise

Bambi compressors are manufactured with soft start solenoid valves. This valve discharges the air pressure in the pump whenever the power is disconnected, protecting the compressor from potential overload, and extending the life cycle of the compressor as long as it is properly maintained.

Vertical Twin pumps utilise innovative tilting piston technology, which provides the highest possible air quality for critical dental applications.

The Bambi oil free dental range is manufactured with innovative integral air dryers. The compressed air is filtered through the dryer to deliver desert-dry air into the dental appliances. The fan assisted after-cooler will dramatically reduce air temperature before it enters the dryer; this allows the coalescing filter to remove droplets of moisture as small as 0.01 microns from the air. Bambi dental compressors also have a dew point of -40°C, so are fully compliant with HTM2022 legislation.

If noise is a concern, Bambi also offers its innovative VTS silent range of compressors. The company has carefully studied air flow dynamics and ventilation techniques to create a product which is kept cool and operates at a noise level as low as 54 dB(A) thanks to sophisticated acoustic cabinets.
